Right to be Forgotten

Under certain data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), You have the right to request the deletion of Your Personal Data that We hold about You. This is commonly referred to as the “Right to be Forgotten.”

Scope of the Right

You may request the erasure of Your Personal Data when:

• Your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
• You withdraw consent on which the processing is based, and no other legal basis applies.
• You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for continuing.
• Your personal data has been unlawfully processed.
• Your personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation.

Exemptions

We may refuse or limit Your request if processing is necessary for:

• Exercising the right of freedom of expression and information.
• Compliance with a legal obligation or for the performance of a public interest task.
• Public health purposes or archiving in the public interest.
• Establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

How to Submit a Request

To exercise Your Right to be Forgotten, please send a written request including:

• Your full name and contact details.
• A clear statement that You wish to have Your Personal Data erased.
• Details of the data You want deleted (e.g., specific account or information).
• Any supporting documents to verify Your identity, if necessary.

What Happens Next?

We will acknowledge receipt of Your request within one month and, where possible, complete the erasure without undue delay. In complex cases, this period may be extended by a further two months, about which we will inform You.

If we refuse Your request, we will explain the reasons and inform You of any further actions available to You, including lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority.
